  • Columbia University GIS User Group. (founder). 2013-2018.  The Earth Institute.  Columbia University.  GIS Day and other meetings.  2013-2018.

    • Created and managed a GIS user group.  Hosted a variety of events including biannual meetings, poster presentations, and other GIS Day activities.

  • Professional GIS Certificates at CUNY.   2011.  Office of Post-secondary Readiness, New York City Department of Education, and The City University of New York - CUNY/Learning to Work Initiative Program. 

    • Prepared and delivered a lecture for high school advisors to learn about careers in the GIS industry and related educational paths available within CUNY to obtain GIS skills and certificates.

  • Marketing Analytics 101.  2008.  Analytics Unit.  Geoscape International of Goldman Sachs. Miami-FL.

    • Prepared and delivered a presentation to review the data, methods, and tools used in marketing geoanalytics within the unit.

  • Community GIS Training Lab Series.  2005. Rutgers Community Outreach Partnership Center (RCOPC).  Edward J. Bloustein School of Urban Planning and Public Policy.  Rutgers the State University of New Jersey.  

    • Prepared and delivered a 3-day lab series to train representatives from local community based organizations with basic GIS map making skills.

  • Using GIS for Neighborhood Planning.  2004.  The Newark Science High School and the New Community Corporation –NCC.  Newark, NJ.

    • Prepared and delivered GIS and GPS training labs and lectures.  Hosted main event at NCC.
