Conducted spatial analysis to examine the interrelationships that exist between the location of medical services and the different populations of Florida at the county and census tract levels. The goal was to identify hot spot areas with a lack of access to medical services.

Wrote Distribution of Medically Underserved Areas and Populations –MUAP- in Florida. 2005, a report submitted by Florida International University (FIU) to Florida's Board of Governors in support of a multi-million Dollar grant application to build the first public medical school in south Florida. 2005. Provided data gathering, management and analysis for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute to develop a grant proposal to create the Osher Adult Education Training Series.

Prepared maps, charts, and other data visualizations to share the results of the population segmentation analysis conducted for the area.

The proposal submitted to The Bernard Osher Foundation for FIU to offer specialized adult education courses in the northern FIU campus, where the segmentation analysis had shown higher concentrations of adults and retirees. 2006.

Wrote a Proposal to create the Columbia GIS Certificate and submitted it to the Department of Ecology Evolution and Environmental Biology (E3B) and the School of Professional Studies of Columbia University in the City of New York. New York, NY. 2013.

Evaluated the current status of GIS education throughout the university to understand the supply of courses and, given the current demands for geospatial technicians and scientists, proposed the creation of a professional GIS certificate. The Columbia GIS Certificate was deemed "too expensive for students to enroll" and was never created.
