  • GIS Database Analyst. Geoscape International (dba Latin Force) of Goldman Sachs.  Miami, Fl. 2008.

    • Conducted a variety of population segmentation and other marketing analyses across the US for several Fortune 500 companies.

    • Performed market analysis in selected US states for the radio and telecommunications industries.

    • Conducted comparative competitive analysis and spatial distribution analysis for FIRE and other companies.

    • Provided backend database development enhancement through geospatial analysis and geoprocessing.

    • Created and maintained metadata for geographic datasets produced for selected locations.

    • Conducted data research and analysis on Mexico's and other Latin American countries' GIS industries.

    • Worked closely with Mexico’s Insituto National de Estadistica y Geografia (INEGI) to secure timely access to updated and new information.

 

  • Environmental Planner.  The Bronx Borough President’s Office.  New York City.  The Bronx, NY. 1998 – 2000.

    • Principal Environmental Planner for the Borough of the Bronx, NY.

    • Involved in a variety of environmental planning and mapping projects.

    • Represented the Office of the Borough President at public meetings and conferences.

    • Conducted draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) reviews.

    • Applied SEQR and CEQR regulations to assess potential environmental impacts of proposed projects such as waste transfer stations, water filtration plants, zoning variances, house number issuance, and other land development applications.

    • Prepared and presented public testimony on environmental matters before the New York City Mayor and the New York City Council.

    • Conducted data research and analysis to support the development of the GeoSupport system.

    • Compared the city's LION GIS data files vs. US TIGER GIS data files.

    • Conducted data file management and archiving for the NYC Bytes of the Big Apple.

    • Performed GIS Data formatting, transference and archiving for the LION system.

    • Participated in the NYC GIS User Group.

 

  • Cartographer and Planning Assistant.  TAMS Consultants. Environmental Department. New York, NY.  1991.

    • Participated in wetland delineation for the New Jersey Meadowlands.

    • Digitized wetland boundaries, drafted CAD drawings, and managed data files.

    • Conducted multi-location land use analyses for the US NAVY foreclosure and realignment.

 

  • Cartographer and Project Planner. E. Eugene Oross Associates. New Brunswick, NJ.  1986 – 1990.

    • Cartographer:

    • Managed the cartography lab.

    • Supervised student interns and lab budget.

    • Ordered lab equipment and all materials for map and Master Plan production.

    • Managed map production and Master Plan completion for several NJ municipalities.

    • Project Planner:

    • Provided planning support to principal planners and local boards and planning offices.

    • Conducted population distribution analyses, zoning, land use, and other local studies.

    • Reviewed site plans, zoning and other planning applications to advise applicants.

    • Substituted for principal planners at public land use and zoning boards meetings to provide expert planning knowledge for various New Jersey municipalities.
